“Having the honor to teach this class was definitely a learning curve for me. I’m so glad that all the students were passionate and committed to coming to class, learning at their best, and implementing what they’ve learned to create art for our exhibit. Our Featuring Hmong in Northern California Art Exhibit: Celebrating Hmong, was such a great event! With over 200 attendees, we were able to host a safe space to allow local artists to sell their work, support local Hmong businesses, and highlight Hmong artists in Northern California! Thank you to all who attended and for your continuous support. Thank you to Councilmember Mai Vang and to our partners from Sierra Health Foundation, Kaying Hang and Nilda Valmores for coming out to support our youths and our exhibit!
If you or someone you know would like to contribute their artworks to our gallery, please let us know! We’re in the process of expanding our art exhibit for other parts of Northern California to see as well!”
